Good news for Lightinthebox customers. Since a few days ago Lightinthebox accepts payment with Credit Cards, after reaching an agreement with the online payment solutions specialist GlobalCollect.
Up to now DHgate was the only Chinese wholesaler accepting Credit Card payments directly, so Lightinthebox joins a quite exclusive list.
Many other China wholesalers allow customers to pay with credit and debit card through PayPal. Although you still get a good protection level, it is only a second best option compared to direct credit card payment. Note that when you use a credit card to deposit money into a bank account or purchasing a Money Order you may not be protected at all (hat tip to Chris at Firetrust).
