LightInTheBox and DHgate are amongst the first in the industry to open mobile friendly stores and apps to provide a more satisfactory experience to the increasing amount of users browsing their stores with smartphones.
PayPal will be the exclusive payment provider for their mobile sites and apps of these leading Chinese merchants likely in exchange for some promotion dollars.
Those lucky readers with iPhones in their pockets (or any other Apple device) can find both LightInTheBox and DHgate apps in the Apple Store.
However, DHgate is taking a head start with their launch of a full mobile site (m.dhgate.com) a few months ago. This site should provide a smoother experience to any mobile brand & model, although PayPal mobile payment platform appears to support only Apple, Android and Blackberry devices.
